About Us
ABOUT SCREAM WORKS FLORIDA
​Scream Works started long before the name existed. When I was fifteen years old, I walked through Spooky World for the first time, and something clicked. The energy, the atmosphere, the way a haunted attraction could grab a crowd and pull them into a story… I knew right then that I wanted to build worlds like that. That same year I created my first small, haunted scene, and I never stopped. Every fall became another chance to design, build and scare. What started as a hobby slowly grew into something much bigger.

After moving to Florida, the passion only intensified. Each season the home haunts grew larger, the crowds got bigger and the support from the community kept pushing me forward. In 2025 more than seven hundred people walked through our attraction. That was the moment I realized this wasn’t just something I loved doing. It was something people wanted to be part of.

As Wayne Gretzky said, you miss one hundred percent of the shots you don’t take. This was mine. Scream Works Site 13 is the next step in a journey that’s been almost decades in the making. It’s built from the ground up with purpose, creativity and heart. More importantly, it’s built for the community that made it possible.

Parrish has welcomed us, supported us and shown up for us. That’s why community isn’t just a buzzword here. It’s the backbone of this entire project. Local volunteers, local sponsors, local families… every scream, every set piece and every actor is part of something we’re building together. A haunted attraction made by this community, for this community.

Our Vision
Scream Works Florida is a fully themed haunted attraction being created right here in Parrish. Our first year is focused on immersion, atmosphere, and story rather than spectacle for spectacles sake. Every environment is intentionally designed to feel unsettling, lived in, and real.
Everything you experience is built by hand, crafted with purpose, and rooted in narrative. The goal is simple: pull guests out of the everyday and into the unsettling world of site 13, where the story unfolds room by room and nothing feels accidental.
The Experience
Scream Works Florida is designed to be tight, intimate, and unsettling, with close quarters, detailed rooms, committed actors, and a storyline that guides the entire experience. Site 13 operates as a government styled intake facility where guests move through a series of controlled environments overseen by The Foreman, and each area introduces a different part of the narrative.

The Foreman
At the heart of Site 13 is The Foreman, an imposing figure who oversees every aspect of the intake process. Guests will encounter this character as they navigate through the facility, never quite sure what his true intentions are. The Foreman represents the blurred line between order and chaos, authority and menace.
Our Foundation
This first season is all about establishing the foundation, earning community support, and building something that can grow responsibly year after year. The attraction is intentionally compact, gritty, and intense by design. We believe in quality over quantity, atmosphere over spectacle, and storytelling over cheap shock value. Every choice is deliberate, and every season builds on the last
